Malala Fund Girl Programme Cohort 1
Client/Partner: Malala Fund
Ano de execução: 2021 – 2022
Project Summary
In the first cohort of the Malala Fund's Girl Programme Fellowship, I initially participated in ToT trainings in storytelling, advocacy, and gender-based violence. This training gave me the opportunity to strengthen my skills as an educator and activist.
Subsequently, I facilitated training for fellows using the methodologies I had learned, as well as designing and moderating sessions on climate change and the UN Climate Change Conferences (COPs). The focus was to support young leaders from different countries in understanding how climate change directly impacts girls' rights and how to act in global advocacy spaces.
Impact/Results
– Support for fellows from 5 countries in the Global South (Brazil, Ethiopia, India, Nigeria, Pakistan).
– Development of advocacy and communication skills in climate policies.
– Strengthening women’s participation in global climate justice and girls’ education agendas.
